Chemical industry’s best online buying experience just got better

SAN JOSE, CA – MARCH 30, 2021 – Knowde, the marketplace for ingredients, polymers and chemistry, has introduced a suite of enhancements designed to make its cutting-edge online buying experience better and faster for research and development (R&D) and procurement professionals.

Beginning today, buyers have access to two new tools on Knowde: a MegaMenu that provides an overview of trends, technologies and concepts for each of the markets that Knowde serves, and a link that enables buyers to communicate directly with sellers to ask technical product questions, talk to sales representatives and inquire about pricing. In addition, Knowde has added:

  • a richer selection of filters and a new, intuitive interface that makes it easier than ever to search by chemistry, application, function, technical properties and more to find the right product quickly and shorten time-to-market for new product development, 
  • the ability to personalize and save searches and create a customizable experience that surfaces only products that are relevant to the buyer’s interests, 
  • new collaboration tools that facilitate information sharing among buyers from the same company, 
  • re-imagined storefronts that give buyers access to every product in a supplier’s catalog in fewer clicks, and,
  • the most comprehensive product collateral in the market: the Knowde Enhanced Technical Data Sheet (TDS).

Knowde will continue to provide existing features that have made the site the leading digital marketplace for the chemical industry, including free signup for R&D and procurement professionals at www.knowde.com, and KnowdeConcierge™, a unique service designed to facilitate requests for information, documents, samples and quotes.

Each month, buyers use Knowde to conduct 295,000 searches and request nearly 6,000 samples and 1,200 quotes.  

For suppliers, Knowde offers the technology required to move online quickly and meet the new needs of customers who want a better online buying experience.
